History

Thomas E. Holt and E. Paul Reichard, two civil engineers, Triangle Fraternity brothers, and University of Cincinnati graduates, began Holt & Reichard, Inc. in the summer of 1926. At the time the company's focus was on residential construction such as The Drackett Residence shown below.

Due to the Great Depression, the company changed its focus to the industrial and commercial segment of the construction market. Moving into the 1940's and 50's church and school work, such as The Armstrong Chapel seen to the right, brought on new challenges. In addition to building conventional buildings, Holt & Reichard, Inc. began building pre-engineered metal buildings in the 1960's.

As we celebrate our 75th anniversary and our third generation of family involvement, we will continue to provide solid solutions to industrial and commercial construction needs.
